1. Tail wagging can mean different things

Although most people think that if a dog is wagging its tail it is always happy, that is not actually the case. The truth is that sometimes tail wagging can be a sign of aggression while other times it can mean they are frightened of something.

  1. Puppies are born blind and deaf

All newborn puppies are born both blind and deaf because they are still in the process of developing physically. This means that the dog’s eyes and ear canals are closed when they are first born. A majority of puppies start to open their eyes and respond to sounds shortly after they are two weeks old.
 

 

  1. Dogs have a sort of “sixth sense”

Many dog owners have claimed that their pets started behaving erratically in some way just before something bad happened. There are also reports that some dogs can actually sense certain illnesses, such as cancer.
